Wear this not that

Today my mom was showing me my baby pictures and I looked at her in shock because my outfit was horrible. According to her, that was my favorite outfit. That's when I came up with the idea that soon to be mothers or mothers that are having trouble putting their child in the clothes you want them in, should put a dresser in your room and hide it in your closet so that your children won't pick out trashy play clothes for school.

Here is a very cute Lily Pulitzer dress.
I know that when I'm older I want my little girl to wear cute
clothes instead of Kmart clothes to school. I will probably be okay with clothes like this for at home and the park but definitely not for school or any other super social or public events. I might not even buy clothes like this but, I know what grandmothers do to spend quality time with their granddaughters and they can get away with any clothing item they want. I know this from seeing my mom's "Oh that's beautiful sweet heart !" Not face.

Welcome

My mom and dad tell me I have always been a "little mommy."  First with baby dolls (the realistic ones, no American Girl dolls for me!), then with my little brother, and now as I begin to reach babysitting age.

I hope to provide some thoughts, my perspective, on raising kids, from a kid's point of view :)
